Sanderson develop and supply software solutions for multi-channel retail, manufacturing, wholesale distribution and logistics businesses.

They came to the team at Point Progress in early 2017, in search of a solution which would help with their expense management processes;

“Previously we had a paper based system whereby employees submitted a hard copy of their expenses with receipts attached. Understandably this system was slow and inefficient, we experienced late and lost submissions, missing receipts and no enforcement of company expenses rules. Furthermore, as the process was manual often coding was incorrect therefore costs entering the wrong cost code.”


With many areas of concern for Sanderson, Point Progress were confident that we could provide a solution which would alleviate the problems surrounding expense claiming, for both the company and the employees.

Having successfully implemented the expense solution for over 200 employees, Sanderson staff saw significant improvements, noting that feedback across the group had been very positive from both users and managers. 

Firstly it has reduced postage costs, as no hardcopies are sent to finance each month.

Secondly there has been a significant time saving for purchase ledger, all previous claims were manually coded and MEO has removed the need for this process saving at least 1 day per month.
